What is the Digital Prosthesis Fixed Protocol
The Total Fixed Prosthesis with Digital Protocol is an oral rehabilitation treatment that replaces all the teeth in an arch with fixed teeth, supported by four titanium implants placed in each jaw, through a quick, safe, minimally invasive, and painless procedure.
As a result of our ongoing commitment to Research and Development, we recently developed the Digital Protocol Fixed Prosthesis - Exclusive to MALO CLINIC, which reduces the treatment time from 8 hours to 4 hours, with significantly less associated risk for the patient.
A MALO CLINIC is the only clinic offering the Fixed Prosthesis Digital Protocol in the Portuguese market!

2
Custom Digital Planning
During a single visit, the Panoramic X-ray, CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography), and 3D images are taken using an intraoral scanner. With this information, the surgery is virtually planned with precise definitions of the size and placement location of the implants.

Frequently Asked Questions
1
Is this treatment suitable for me?
This treatment may be indicated for patients who have lost all or most of their teeth, as well as for those who use removable dentures and are looking for a fixed and comfortable solution.
In some cases, it may also be an option even when there is significant bone loss, after an individual clinical assessment conducted by the team at MALO CLINIC.
2
Is the procedure painful?
The treatment is performed with local anesthesia, which means that the patient does not feel pain during the procedure. After the treatment, there may be some temporary discomfort, usually well controlled with clinical guidance.
3
How long does the treatment take?
The treatment involves different stages, from assessment and planning to the placement of the definitive prosthesis. The timeline is explained clearly during the assessment consultation, according to the needs of each patient.
4
Is the prosthesis really fixed?
Yes. It is a fixed prosthesis, supported by dental implants, that is not removed by the patient on a daily basis and offers greater stability and comfort than removable dentures.
5
How is maintenance and hygiene carried out?
A fixed prosthesis allows for an effective oral hygiene routine, similar to that of natural teeth, complemented by regular follow-up and maintenance consultations recommended by the clinical team.
6
Are the results long-lasting?
With good oral hygiene and appropriate clinical follow-up, the results are long-lasting. Durability also depends on daily care and the recommended check-up visits.
We accompany each step of your clinical journey, focusing on your comfort, confidence, and smile.
